Tottenham Hotspur lands three-year sponsorship deal with Getir

The online grocery organization, which was founded in 2015 and launched in the UK in January.

The English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur has got on board the online grocery delivery company Getir to their roster of commercial partners.

“We are pleased to announce that we have agreed to a three-year partnership with Getir, the pioneer of ultrafast grocery delivery. Getir is to join the Club as an Official Global Partner,” Tottenham Hotspur said in a statement.

The online grocery organization, which was founded in 2015 and launched in the UK in January, has signed a three-year deal to become an official global partner of the English top-flight club.

The deal with the Spurs marks the company’s first sports collaboration in the UK, where it intends to increase its service to 15 cities by the end of the current year.

Turancan Salur, the general manager at Getir U.K, said, “It is our great pleasure to support and stand by the side of sports and athletes, we will continue to respect and value them. It’s great to now be able to deliver this in the U.K. with our first football club partnership with Tottenham Hotspur.”

Apart from this deal between Tottenham Hotspur and Getir, West Ham United have signed up with the health insurance firm Vitality. The agreement covers both the men’s and women’s teams, the health insurance company has become the official partner of the Hammers and also comprises in-stadium advertising during the home fixtures.

Apart from West Ham United, Vitality also has partnerships with the Premier League clubs, Leicester City, Newcastle United and Chelsea.

On the other hand, Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed Sportsbreaks.com as their business travel and match break partner for the upcoming three seasons.

Sportsbreaks.com has collaborated with the Spurs and Manchester United in similar deals for the current year.

Ahead of the commencement of the marquee English football league on August 13, the clubs have managed to sign lucrative deals with several brands.
