Swiss Brand Livinguard AG signs Sourav Ganguly as Ambassdor

BCCI President and Former India Captain, Sourav Ganguly has been signed as the brand ambassador of Livinguard AG. The renowned hygiene brand has partnered with the legendary batsman for their range of gloves and masks, which have become a necessity during the pandemic.

On November 24, Ganguly was present in a virtual press conference hosted by Livinguard AG. In the presence of the company’s highest stake-holders, Sanjeev Swamy (Founder & CEO), Victoria Banaszak (VP Sales), and Ankit Mital (Director), Livinguard AG announced the association with Sourav.

The hygiene brand has also announced a limited-edition Sourav Ganguly masks treated with the Livinguard technology. These masks have been proven to destroy >99.9% of bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. The hygiene brand has its headquarters in Switzerland. They have partnered with Ganguly to expand their reach in the South Asian market and especially India.

Commenting on his association, Sourav Ganguly stated, “I am delighted to start the innings with Livinguard. Facemasks and gloves have become an extension of our daily attire. Most face masks and gloves were either only preventive in nature or single-use. Livinguard face masks and gloves, on the other hand, are not only preventive but also protective.”

During the online event, the BCCI President also confirmed India’s home series against England. He also said that BCCI has cut down the test series to four Test matches to increase the number of T20I matches to help the team prepare for the ICC World T20 that is scheduled in October-November next year in India.

After becoming the President of the richest cricketing board, Ganguly has become the new face for brand endorsements and advertising in the Indian market. Now, the BCCI President is giving a stiff competition to Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the race of most number of brand deals.
