Mohamed Salah becomes Visa’s new regional playmaker

Mohamed Salah has been unveiled as a Visa brand ambassador across the Middle East and Africa.

The global payments giant, Visa has announced a new partnership with the football superstar and Liverpool FC (LFC) striker, Mohamed Salah.

The captain of the Egyptian national team has been unveiled as a brand ambassador for Visa across the Middle East and Africa, spanning regions like the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kuwait, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa.

This strategic collaboration brings together a world-renowned athlete known for his dedication, perseverance, and excellence, qualities that resonate well with Visa’s commitment to empowering individuals to achieve their aspirations. 

From a village in the north of Egypt to global superstardom, Salah’s story of grit and fortitude demonstrates the belief that greatness begins with a series of small steps.

Visa is a leading global payments company enabling electronic funds transfers through credit cards, debit cards, and prepaid cards. In recent news, Visa signed the Olympic gold medalist, Neeraj Chopra, as Team Visa athlete for the Paris Olympics 2024, and extended its partnership with FIFA as an official partner until 2026.

All eyes are on Anfield as Liverpool, led by their Egyptian King with 19 goals and 10 assists, take on their title rival Manchester City. The Reds currently sit atop the Premier League (PL) table, but the Citizens are breathing down their necks with just a single point behind. This March 10 clash at 9:15 PM IST is shaping up to be a potential title decider, with both teams competing for PL glory.
