The Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) team, Salem Spartans have announced a new sponsorship deal with a sports goods brand, Sportus.
With this deal, Sportus has become the Daryl Ferrario-led side’s associate sponsor for the ongoing season.
The team announced this association on its social media platform. The post said, “Call from yet another sponsor! Welcoming Sportus to the family 😊
Looking forward to a fruitful association 🙌🏽”
The firm was initially known as New Olympia Sports, but as the corporation flourished in Chennai, the title was changed to Sportus. Since then, the organisation has primarily focused on cricket equipment because the sport is dear to the hearts of millions of fans across the country.
Ever since the commencement of the tournament, Salem Spartans have represented the Salem district in the TNPL. The franchise is owned by Vivo Chennai South distributor Selvakumar M. and is the most expensive team in the tournament.
For season six of TNPL, the team has roped in Envission, AVR PAY, Taj 777 News, Sky Exch, Vision11, Sumangali Homes, Jones Infrastructure Private Limited, and Freyer International as sponsors.
The winners of the 2016 TNPL edition currently are at the bottom of the table as they have lost the only match they have played so far in the season. They next take on Lyca Kovai Kings on July 6.
