The cricket team from the Salem district, Salem Spartans, which features in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) has announced Skyexch.net, the one-stop destination for sports updates, as the title sponsor.
The official announcement of the news was done by the team’s official social media handle. The caption on the post said, “Introducing our title sponsors @exchange_sky
for the TNPL! Looking forward to a fruitful association Welcome to the Salem Spartans family!”
The team is owned by the Vivo Chennai south distributor Selvakumar M. The captain of the Salem-based unit is Daryl Ferrario and the team is coached by B. Ramprakash with Salem Cricket Foundation Stadium being the home ground.
Players like Vijay Shankar and Washington Sundar that have donned the prestigious Indian jersey also play for Salem Spartans.
In the upcoming edition, the organizers will conduct 32 games along with the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) within one month and 10 days. TNPL 2022 will kick off on June 23, the first fixture of the season will be played at Tirunelveli and the final will be played on July 31 at Coimbatore.
Salem Spartans will commence their campaign on June 25 against Nellai Royal Kings at 7:15 PM IST at Tirunelveli.
