The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) team, Haryana Steelers have obtained a deal with the portable ice bath developer, ARC – Athlete Recovery.
Following the pact, ARC-Athlete Recovery has been named the official recovery partner of the Steelers for the ongoing PKL 10.
The franchise through its Instagram account confirmed the pact with the caption, “Iss saal, Haryana Steelers ka recovery ka dhyan ARC – Athlete Recovery rakhega. Haryana Steelers signs on ARC – Athlete Recovery as ‘Official Recovery Partner“
Before this pact, the unit added 8PM Premium Black Packaged Drinking Water to its sponsorship portfolio.
David Mathias, the former Karnataka Ranji player, founded ARC – Athlete Recovery, a company that uses transportable ice baths to give athletes the much-needed comfort and healing they need. The organisation has a long history of ties to major sports figures like KL Rahul, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), National Cricket Academy (NCA), Caribbean Premier League (CPL) teams, Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL), and Karnataka Premier League (KPL).
Haryana Steelers had a disastrous opening to their PKL 10 campaign as they were thrashed by UP Yoddhas 57-27. After a big defeat, the Haryana-based unit will be feeling the heat of the pressure and will have to check on its gaming strategies before heading for the Bengaluru leg. The team will be looking forward to bouncing back in its next encounter against the home side, Bengaluru Bulls on Saturday, December 9 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru.
