Oracle Red Bull Racing and Castore sign record-breaking $200 million apparel deal

Castore extends its role as Oracle Red Bull Racing's official apparel supplier, providing teamwear for personnel, drivers, and fans.

The Formula 1 giant, Oracle Red Bull Racing has announced an extension of its partnership with the premium sportswear brand Castore.

The newly unveiled pact is the largest apparel deal in F1 history, both in terms of duration and value.

The agreement, worth over $200 million, sees Castore remain the official high-performance apparel supplier for the six-time Constructors’ Champions, providing racewear, training gear, and official merchandise for drivers, personnel, and Red Bull Academy members. Fans will continue to have access to the same teamwear through Oracle Red Bull and Castore’s online stores and at racetrack retailers.

The initial partnership between the two parties involved began in 2023. The long-term renewal has made this arrangement the single largest commitment by a sportswear brand in motorsports history.

Oracle Red Bull Racing, Team Principal and CEO, Christian Horner, said, “From the start of our collaboration with Castore last year we knew we had found a partner whose commitment to innovation and advanced engineering matched our own and the trust we have in them to deliver performance improvement has only increased over the past 12 months and has led to this record-breaking new agreement. We’re also pleased that Castore’s faith in the team has extended to our activities in F1 Academy. That too is a ground-breaking initiative and having Castore on board to help our drivers in that series is a huge bonus.”

Tom Beahon, Co-Founder, Castore, said, “We’re thrilled to have expanded our partnership with Oracle Red Bull Racing. The length of this agreement demonstrates the trust they have in Castore to deliver products that help optimise the performance of the whole team and speaks to our commitment to Oracle Red Bull Racing’s goals to continue their charge to more wins and titles.”

Castore, a British manufacturer of premium sportswear, is headquartered in Manchester, England. Founded in 2015, the company has established itself as a leader in performance-driven athletic apparel. Notably, last month, Castore also entered into a long-term partnership with the World Snooker Tour.

The defending champion is riding high after a record-breaking 2023 season and continues to solidify its off-track partnerships. Recently, the team extended its collaborations with Ansys and Built For Athletes.

The partnership extension comes on the heels of a dominant start to the 2024 season, with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez securing a 1-2 finish at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Now, the F1 unit has set its sights on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia, where it will be looking to extend its lead on March 9 at 10:30 pm IST.
