The A-League outfit, Melbourne Victory have announced a partnership with the video live-streaming service, KICK.com.
Following the partnership, KICK.com has been named the official esports partner of the Melbourne-based football club.
Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that @KickStreaming will become the Club’s Official Esports Partner for the 2023/24 season.

Through this accord, the streaming service will introduce “Victory Esports,” a new feature that will combine the club’s E-League participation with several interesting new initiatives, enabling gamers to interact with the platform and take part in EAFC 24 contests.

KICK is an exciting, new platform that has a diverse audience both in Australia and across the globe and we’re looking forward to working with KICK to not only be front and centre of our E-League campaign, but also open new audiences to Melbourne Victory.”
She also expressed, “Esports has been a relatively untapped market in Australia and we’re looking forward to working with KICK to open their platform to our fans while introducing their users to Melbourne Victory.”

Before this partnership, the unit also added companies such as NJ Lawyers, Local Brewing Co., and Subaru Melbourne Group to its sponsorship portfolio.
KICK, a live-streaming video service owned by Amazon, was established in 2022 with a focus on laxer moderating and revenue sharing for streamers. It was backed by Ed Craven, Bijan Tehrani, and streaming star Trainwreckstv.
