Lucknow Super Giants‘ (LSG) associate sponsor, Gigabyte Technology and its gaming label ‘AORUS,’ have initiated a metaverse to enhance the virtual fan interaction experiences of the franchise’s supporters.
This step is the first of its kind in Indian sports, and it will allow the team and supporters to get closer.
The platform will provide a unique experience for LSG supporters who were unable to attend matches at the stadiums this season. A virtual cricket stadium with a curved exterior and a corkscrew pathway at the front is featured in the experience. Exclusively created panels run the length of the stadium’s indoor walls, allowing visitors to study player statistics and try on their shirts. The stadium’s exterior walls are adorned with bright handmade artwork depicting dancers, musicians, and other place-specific characteristics to evoke the inimitable spirit of Lucknow.
Fans will also have the chance to be one of the select few who will make metaverse history by meeting their cricketing heroes at an exceptional meet-and-greet in this virtual environment, as well as compete in a PC building game for a chance at winning an actual Gigabyte PC.
