Logan Paul set to fight Floyd Mayweather on June 6

Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather announced their fight on Instagram after months of negotiations.  The fight was initially set to take place on February 25, but the Mayweather team postponed it. The fight will take place on June 6 in Hard Rock Stadium, Miami

Mayweather will enter the ring for the first time after his last fight against Connor McGregor. This fight irrespective of the result is a win for both sides as they are all set to make millions of dollars.  This fight is also expected to break the PPV record as the PPV king Mayweather will make a return against one of the most famous internet personalities in Logan Paul.

Logan Paul made his professional boxing debut against fellow YouTube KSI in 2019 but lost the fight in a controversial manner. He will be looking to shock the world by doing something no one has ever done, which is knocking out Floyd Mayweather. Logan Paul is in Puerto Rico for training camp along with his boxing coach Milton.

Paul getting this fight has not gone well with the hard-core boxing community as they believe this is just a money-making event and disrespectful towards boxing. Canelo who is the best pound-to-pound boxer in the world right now labeled this fight as ‘STUPID’.

However, a lot of boxers and former boxers are in support of this new trend of celebrities fighting professional boxers as it brings a lot more eyeballs to the Sport. Former Heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and current Heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury came out in support of Logan Paul and Jake Paul as they believe the sport is now getting more attention and in the long run will benefit the sport. Floyd Mayweather will be the favorite to win this fight easily as he has a 50-0 boxing record whereas Logan Paul has never won a boxing fight.
