Kabaddi Adda join hands with FanCode to exclusively broadcast K7 Kabaddi Stage Up tournament

The K7 Kabaddi Stage UP tournament will commence on July 22, it will be a 17-day event.

Kabaddi Adda has announced its collaboration with FanCode for exclusive broadcast rights of the K7 Kabaddi Stage Up tournament. India’s premier digital sports hub, FanCode will be exclusively live-streaming the upcoming tournament, reaching its user base of more than 20 million.

The K7 Kabaddi Stage UP tournament will commence on July 22, it will be a 17-day event. It will consist of 59 matches with more than 140 players and coaches participating from across Haryana. The 10 participating teams in the tournament includes eight teams that made it through the K7 Qualifiers in March and two additional wild card entries. Each participating academy team will come in with a squad of 12 players and two officials, the event will take place at the Future Fighters Kabaddi Academy.

Kabaddi Adda looks to bring back live kabaddi action to the fans through their collaboration with FanCode. Talking about the collaboration, Suhail Chandhok, Co-Founder of Kabaddi Adda, said, “It’s been a challenging year for athletes and with the K7 Stage Up, we want to not only bring back the thrill of our own Sport of Kabaddi, but provide opportunities to budding players from top Kabaddi academies across the country. The collaboration with FanCode helps us reach out to Kabaddi fans on a massive scale but also provide a platform for talent across players, coaches and referees to showcase their skills, giving them exposure among fans and professional teams across India and Indian sub-continent.

FanCode was launched in March 2019 and has been providing personalised sports content, commerce and data to all sports fans through unique technology. Since its commencement, the country’s leading digital sports hub has partnered with several international and domestic sports leagues and also associations across multiple sports.

The tournament will award prizes for the winning team, ‘Super 6’ – top six players of the tournament, Best Defender, Best Raider and more. The top six teams of the tournament will advance into the K7 Finals, which will take place later this year.
