Equitas Small Finance Bank has announced its partnership with Chennai Super Kings (CSK), becoming the official ‘Retail banking partner’ of the team.
The Chennai-based bank was the principal sponsor of CSK in 2018.The bank offers various product offerings to its customers such as Video KYC, Higher interest rates on Fixed Deposits than before and Savings Account.
Through this partnership the bank wants to spread its product offerings to cater each and every segment of all age categories. Just like the marquee player of Chennai Super Kings, Mahendra Singh Dhoni who dons the Number 7, similarly the Bank offers its customers with 7.35% interest per annum on FD for 888 days and 0.60% extra for Senior Citizens.
Since MS Dhoni is one of the most loved players in Chennai and also called the ‘Thalla’, the bank believes that this association is a fruitful one in garnering the attention of the audience and increasing customer base. The Chennai-based bank was the principal sponsor of CSK in 2018.
Equitas then announced that it will be the banking partner of Team CSK for three years. The bank is looking for a long term association with the franchise seeking regional growth as an important aspect.
