IPL 2023 RR vs DC: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

Both sides played against each other 26 times in the past and have secured 13 victories each.

In the 11th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will lock horns with Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati tomorrow i.e. Saturday, April 8 at 3:30 PM IST.

The Sanju Samson-led team commenced season 16 on an impressive note, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 72 runs, but then later lost against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their second game by a mere margin. Another concern for the first-ever IPL champions is Jos Buttler‘s injury. The Royals will be hoping that Buttler’s finger is okay after the blow he suffered against PBKS. Following the incident, the Englishman required numerous sutures and appeared to be in pain. Buttler’s absence would be devastating for RR, given their batting relies on and around him. The Royals were also not at their best with the ball, which is fair given that the match was played at the batting paradise in Guwahati. Regardless, the team is hoping for an all-round performance and to return to winning ways tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Capitals have suffered defeats against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT). The David Warner-led side will be aiming for its first win of the IPL 2023 season. However, the young guns Prithvi Shaw and Sarfaraz Khan have not delivered, and skipper Warner also does not appear to be threatening at the top. If the Capitals are to compete with the Royals, their batters must produce. With the ball though, the Delhi-based team has been looking solid as Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed, Axar Patel and co. are regularly taking wickets.
