IPL 2023 GT vs SRH: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

In their last outing, which took place last season, GT won by 5 wickets.

In the 62nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023Gujarat Titans (GT) will host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad tonight i.e. Monday, May 15 at 7:30 PM IST.

GT take optimism in their consistency and will be anticipating putting on a strong effort against SRH tonight after a generally lacklustre performance at the Wankhede Stadium. GT are comfortably at the top of the standings with 16 points after 12 games. Except for Rashid Khan, who excelled against Mumbai Indians (MI), the team had a disappointing game with both bat and ball. Nonetheless, they will not moan as another win should be sufficient for the defending champions to secure a playoff berth. GT will once again trust Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha to provide a good start, while the middle order plays their typical cricket and keeps their team in a comfortable position throughout the match. Furthermore, the bowlers for Hardik Pandya-led team are also doing well, with Mohammad Shami, Rashid Khan, Noor Ahmad, and Mohit Sharma all doing admirably. GT would want to erase their journey to Mumbai and go all fresh in this match.

The Sunrisers, who have only four victories in 11 games, cannot take another defeat at this stage. To be in playoff contention, SRH must win all of their matches, which will not be easy against the reigning champions. After falling to Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) from a winning position, the 2016 IPL champions would be at the whim of other franchises. Sunrisers’ season has been marred by the failure of the top order and ace bowlers to perform to expectations. However, the Punjabi opening combination of Abhishek Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh has shown some positive intent. In the lower middle order, Abdul Samad is also showing extravagant performances lately. SRH need the middle order to show some more intent while bowlers also to outshine the batters.

Head-to-Head:

The two teams have encountered each other on two occasions with both sides winning one match each. In their last outing, which took place last season, GT won by 5 wickets.
