India tour of West Indies 2023 2nd T20I: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

In the 26 games played between the two teams, India prevailed in 17 while West Indies in eight.

In the second T20I match of the five-match series, India will take on the West Indies at the Providence Stadium in Guyana tomorrow i.e. August 6 at 8:00 PM IST.

While the first T20I saw the home side clinch victory, the players will all be tested once again as the Men in Blue will be on their toes to level the series. While in the first match, the Indian top order collapsed, this time though, Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill will look to provide a strong start while the middle order with the likes of Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson would like to capitalise on it. Meanwhile, Tilak Verma, who made his debut in the first match, showcased his brilliance by scoring 39 runs which included some top-notch shots. With the ball, the visitors managed to keep the big hitters quiet as they restricted WI to just 149 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh and Kuldeep Yadav all bowled well while Pandya was also quite economical.

In contrast, West Indies will head into this match with a positive mindset after putting up a heroic bowling performance against the star-studded Indian team. The names such as Shimron HetmyerNicholas PooranJason Holder and Rovman Powell always seem to be dangerous when it comes to T20s. With the ball, the side obtained nine wickets courtesy of Holder, Obed McCoy and Romario Shepherd. In the second T20I, the home team would attempt to emulate their performance and dominate the series by 2-0. The Caribbean side, nonetheless, would anticipate that the visitors would come at them hard, therefore they would need to be at the top of their game in all aspects.

Head-to-Head:
