ICC reportedly joins hands with multiple new brands for Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023

IndusInd Bank and Hero Vida have teamed up with the ICC for the forthcoming ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, according to reports.

Leading up to the highly anticipated ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is making some serious developments in its sponsorship portfolio.

The Indian financial services entity, IndusInd Bank and the electric scooter company, Hero Vida, have signed an association with the ICC for the forthcoming World Cup, according to reports. IndusInd Bank has signed a multi-year deal with the global cricket governing organization, which will kick off with the 50-over World Cup starting October 5, 2023. According to sources, the total valuation of the multi-year deal is INR 160-200 crore.

Hero Vida has reportedly joined the multi-event cricketing tournament as the official partner and the deal is valued in the range of INR 40-50 crore per year. More confirmations are awaited as to whether Hero Vida’s association with the ICC is just for the upcoming World Cup or a multi-year collaboration. As per reports, Hero Vida will be replacing FTX, which teamed up with the ICC as an official cryptocurrency exchange partner in 2021.

In the previous month, ICC announced Mastercard as its official global partner for the much-awaited World Cup in October-November 2023.

According to sources, IndusInd Bank and Mastercard have replaced BharatPe and BYJU’s, who prematurely concluded their respective affiliations with the ICC.
