hummel prolongs its presence in Danish Football until 2032

Through the agreement, hummel continues to be the official kit supplier of DBU until 2032.

The governing body of football in Denmark, the Danish Football Association (DBU) has secured a partnership renewal with the Danish sportswear manufacturer, hummel.

Through the agreement, hummel continues to be the official kit supplier of DBU until 2032.

Following the deal, the logo of the company will continue to be featured on the Danish national football teams, which include men’s and women’s teams, youth national teams, soccer schools, and referees.

The DBU and hummel have also decided to equalise bonus structures for the men’s and women’s teams as part of the new agreement.

Erik Brøgger Rasmussen, Chief Executive, DBU, commented, “Danish football and our national football teams are fantastic places with many active fans and impressive sporting results. We are particularly pleased that Hummel, with the new agreement, has agreed to provide an equal-sized tournament bonus for both the women’s and men’s national teams. This is crucial for our work with football for everyone and a strong signal that gender equality is central – also in Danish football.”

The alliance was inked in 2016 when the Danish brand replaced adidas as the official kit supplier of the Denmark football team.

Owned by Thornico, hummel is a sportswear brand manufactured in Aarhus, Denmark. Presently, the business produces uniforms for teams playing football, rugby league, futsal, handball, basketball, shinty, volleyball, and esports.
