The all-electric motorsport association, Formula E has announced a new long-term partnership with the Saudi Basic Industrial Corporation (SABIC).

SABIC Vice President and CEO Yousef bin Abdullah Al Bunyan conveyed glory in this new alliance. This deal contributes significantly to reinforcing the SABIC brand internationally on the global sports platform linked to its business and has a distinct and growing presence.

Al-Bunyan said, “This move provides a unique opportunity to bring our innovations from (Formula E) to the various automotive and electric vehicle industries to create value for our customers and partners and demonstrate our ability to support the world’s transition to electric vehicles before that, to build a more sustainable future.”

SABIC’s purpose to collaborate intently with the first carbon-neutral sport is to incorporate the firm’s sustainable plans into the Formula E ecological system and processes.

Al-Bunyan emphasised that this collaboration is entirely consistent with SABIC’s initiative, which supports the view of a circular carbon economy in light of the decrease in all carbon value chains. Moreover, it is a crucial component toward transitioning to electric work which is one of the organisation’s primary trajectories identified to attain neutrality.
