Formula 1 pens down an association with Tottenham Hotspur

The esteemed partnership will focus on checking, detecting, and developing new motorsport talents coming up in the circuit.

The elite car racing tournament, Formula 1 has signed a 15-year partnership with the Premier League (PL) team, Tottenham Hotspur.

The esteemed partnership will focus on checking, detecting, and developing new motorsport talents coming up in the circuit. It will also have a new driver academy program, which will aim to develop and diversify motorsport talent.

The alliance between the two will lead to the establishment of the first-ever in-stadium electric karting facility and London’s longest track at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Another aspect of the collaboration is the educational activities and programs in the schools that will help to develop the aptitude for motorsport and the students can think of having a career in this sport as well as in engineering and software development. Along with all these factors, the duo will focus on bringing diversity in motorsport, particularly for women and underrepresented groups, and to create sustainable activities to promote environmental responsibility.

Tottenham Hotspur is a professional football club that hails from Tottenham, London. This London-based club competes in English top-flight football. The club was founded in 1882 and is currently in the fourth position on the points table. The Lilywhites’ next encounter will be in the FA Cup where they will be facing Sheffield United tomorrow.
