EventsAIR to be the official accommodation and transfer system provider for Birmingham 2022

The Birmingham 2022 Games will see around 4,500 athletes from over 72 nations.

The event management platform EventsAIR has been announced as the official accommodation and transfer system provider for Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The event management company will support the management in accommodation reservations, arrivals and departure through the underlying platform and web portals.

The Birmingham 2022 Games will see around 4,500 athletes from over 72 nations and territories compete in 19 sports and eight para-sports across 14 competitions venues from 28 July-8 August 2022.

EventsAIR CEO Trevor Gardiner said, “As an official supplier and sponsor to Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, we look forward to working closely with the Birmingham Organising Committee and contributing to a highly successful Games through the delivery of reliable and easy to use Accommodation Reservations and Arrivals & Departure systems.”

The EventsAIR was termed as an ideal partner by Pennie Brinsden, Head of games system at Birmingham 2022, she added: “It’s great to have EventsAIR on board as they join us as our Official Accommodation and Transfer System Provider for Birmingham 2022. Recently the Birmingham Games 2022, announced Hewlette Packard Enterprise as their official venue network infrastructure supporter. This deal makes EventsAIR the newest addition to the group of sponsors, who are in collaboration with the Commonwealth Games 2022 to make it a success. This will be the third time when the Commonwealth Games are being hosted in England. London and Manchester were the hosts in the 1934 and 2002 editions respectively.
