Haaland will feature in a special documentary that will offer Viaplay’s audiences unprecedented access to the 22-year-old’s stratospheric career and his carefully guarded personal life. Haaland will also serve as a Viaplay ambassador in the nine European countries where Viaplay has Premier League football rights.
The Viaplay production ‘Haaland – The Big Decision,’ will give fans total access to the player and his management group. This will feature Haaland and his story across early summer 2022 when he was the top transfer aim for every top team in Europe before signing for City in a €60 million deal.
In addition, Alfie Haaland, a former Premier League player, will serve as a specialist for Viaplay’s Premier League broadcasts.

Back in January, Viaplay also struck a deal with Formula 1 World Drivers’ Champion Max Verstappen to produce exclusive documentary programming for the provider. Verstappen is also a Viaplay ambassador in markets where Viaplay has Formula 1 rights.
