The Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has become an investor in the Norwegian hair-tie business, Bon Dep.

With this partnership, the 23-year-old, a regular buyer of the company’s products, is broadening his line of business.

Haaland, known for his long blonde hair, is frequently seen wearing Bon Dep hair ties during match days and will now try to boost the business’s profile even further with his recent investment.

Haaland discovered the ‘Kknekki’ hair tie as his preferred style when playing for Man City and Norway, and he hopes to expand the brand globally as one of the game’s most prominent players.

On the development, Haaland commented, “I’m proud to become a shareholder in Bon Dep. Kknekki has been my go-to hair tie for years, and it is undoubtedly the best in the world.”

With Haaland’s assistance, the firm seeks to double its record-breaking income of £7 million from the previous year. Bon Dep hair ties saw a dramatic rise in sales in France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

As a significant stakeholder in Bon Dep, Haaland will additionally rely on investment firm Ogreid to help it map out future marketing and brand prospects.

This is Haaland’s second investment since starting his portfolio with the American performance health and recovery tech business, Hyperice, in 2022.
