Ebury becomes Rangers FC’s official FX transfer partner until end of 2025–26 season

Commercial aspects of the deal involve Ebury providing Rangers FC with solutions to support the club's global finance operations.

The Scottish professional football club, Rangers FC have inked a sponsorship deal with the multinational fintech brand, Ebury.

With this agreement, Ebury has become the Scottish Premiership club’s official FX transfer partner for the rest of the 2023–24 season and the next two seasons.

Commercial aspects of the deal involve Ebury providing Rangers with solutions to support the club’s global finance operations. The pact is followed by a previous collaboration with the bookmaker, Unibet, which was one of the club’s major arrangements last year.

Karim Virani, Rangers FC CCO, said, “Ebury is a hugely innovative and rapidly growing global financial services firm which we are extremely proud to partner with. Our plans working alongside them as a club, but also to support the local business network in Scotland, are extremely exciting and we’re very much looking forward to bringing this partnership to life.”

Ebury, on the other hand, is further extending its reach in the sports industry with this arrangement. In recent years, the company has been implementing a comprehensive sports marketing plan.

The club partnered with the Dutch club, PSV Eindhoven, last year, and it also inked an association with the National Football League (NFL) side, Jacksonville Jaguars.

Phil Monkhouse, Ebury UK Country Manager, said, “Today marks a notable milestone in Ebury’s expansion into Scotland as we proudly announce our role as the official FX transfer partner of Rangers FC. Partnering with Rangers is a testament to our commitment to the local community. Rangers’ sense of tradition, competitive spirit and incredible fan base is why we’re not just sponsors; we’re fans, dedicated to the development and success of Scottish businesses.”
