CoinDCX becomes official jersey sponsor for Ireland Cricket Team

By sponsoring the Ireland jersey, CoinDCX is targeting cricket-crazy audiences across the globe, especially the Indians, a major chunk of which tune in to watch non-India matches as well.

Presently, the Ireland Cricket Team is playing a bilateral series against South Africa at home. And following a historic win against the Proteas on Tuesday, the Irish delights don’t seem to take a back seat off the field as well. They have entered into a partnership with the Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX.

This is a groundbreaking deal for both parties involved as CoinDCX marks its presence in the cricketing world by becoming the main team sponsor of the Ireland Cricket Team. This deal will see CoinDCX as the Official Front of Jersey Sponsor of the Ireland Cricket Team for the ongoing series against South Africa.

By sponsoring the Ireland jersey, CoinDCX is targeting cricket-crazy audiences across the globe, especially the Indians, a major chunk of which tune in to watch non-India matches as well. One of the great benefits for CoinDCX to capitalize on is the timing of the ongoing series for Indian viewers. The ODI matches will start at 3.30 pm and T20 matches will start at 7.30 pm thereby both running through primetime in India. These timings will allow CoinDCX to reach a wider audience.

Sumit Gupta, CEO & Co-founder of CoinDCX shared his insights on this deal and said, “This is our 3rd Cricket Sponsorship this year and we are thrilled to be the Official Jersey Sponsor of Ireland Cricket Team. The crypto-assets market in India is under-penetrated. The cricket season attracts high viewership from all over India, and we aim to tap potential users through these sponsorships.”

CoinDCX is slowly making its way into the world of cricket and is picking great branding opportunities for itself. Earlier in the year, CoinDCX began to build its cricket portfolio with the Co-Presenting Sponsorship on Hotstar during the World Test Championship between India and New Zealand. The WTC was a marquee ICC event and CoinDCX grabbed the opportunity with both hands. This helped the brand in terms of a larger outreach in terms of the audience watching the game.

The next big step CoinDCX took was becoming the Title Sponsor for the T20I series between India and Sri Lanka, scheduled to be played in the last week of July. They also agreed on terms to serve as the Overseas Partner of Sri Lanka for the entire bilateral series between the two Asian cricket giants.

And now, with the Ireland jersey sponsorship, CoinDCX aims to reach out to the millennial, and business-oriented populations in the Indian and Global market, who have either already invested in cryptocurrency or are most likely to consider investing in crypto assets. It slowly but eventually allows CoinDCX with an excellent opportunity to generate extensive visibility and boost brand recall amongst the young viewer base.
