Coca-Cola, Esports Awards sign partnership renewal

Coca-Cola will generate an exclusive VIP activation during the event.

Coca-Cola has unveiled a renewal with Esports Awards for the 2022 edition, which will see the beverage company come back as the award ceremony’s official beverage partner.

Coca-Cola will generate an exclusive VIP activation during the event, as well as represent the Esports Personality of the Year award. Coca-Cola will also debut their new League of Legends Wild Rift-themed cans during the Esports Awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony is one of the most prestigious in the esports industry. The awards seek to recognise the best esports organisations, players, on-air talent, media, and esports-related content.

Scott Hollingsworth, Chief Operating Officer, Esports Award Event, said, “Young companies like ours dream of working with a world-class team at Coca-Cola Consolidated. Expanded roster, cool product drops and an enhanced experience at our live event venues in Charlotte, all of our fans and participants will benefit from this relationship.”

Leo Faria, Global Head of Wild Rift Esports, commented, “Coca-Cola helped launch what is now the biggest esports on the planet, League of Legends Esports, so I am thrilled that they see a future in Wild Rift Esports as well.”

Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, commented, “It is always an honour to welcome a partner for another year. Last year with Coca-Cola we were able to create some very special memories for our attendees, and I look forward to doing it again in Las Vegas in 2022.”
