In this arrangement, Uphold has been named the English top-flight team’s official sleeve partner for the ongoing season. The multi-asset digital money platform has been given the privilege of being featured on the Clarets’ shirts. Uphold’s branding will also be showcased on the LED signage throughout Turf Moor on matchday and during activations across the ongoing Premier League season.
In addition, Uphold has also been named Burnley FC Women’s official partner as per the team’s prolonged dedication to enhancing women’s football across the region.
Stuart Hunt, Burnley FC President said, “I’m pleased to expand our fantastic portfolio of partners and welcome Uphold onboard as our Official Sleeve Partner. A global brand, their vision and drive has led to them successfully serving over 140 countries, across 300+ currencies in recent years.
“There’s ample potential for the partnership and I’m delighted Uphold will become an Official Partner of our women’s team too – a key area of growth for us. We look forward to working together and introducing their brand to our supporters.”
Simon McLoughlin, Uphold CEO said, “We couldn’t be more proud to stand beside Burnley FC as they march back into the Premier League. The Clarets embody grit and determination – climbing back up the ranks with 101 points accrued last season alongside a 22-game unbeaten run. That’s the kind of spirit we at Uphold love…Vincent Kompany at the helm just adds another layer of excitement to this partnership. With a legend who knows what victory tastes like guiding a team that’s hungry for more, Turf Moor’s destined to witness some magic this season, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”
Uphold provides digital services to its users across the globe as it serves more than 184 nations across 200+ currencies (traditional and cryptocurrency).
Apart from the newly unveiled association, Burnley FC have also signed sponsorship pacts with GoE Wellness, Football Manager, Soccer Supplement, Omnia Group Services, BK8, W88 and several other entities for the ongoing edition.
The Clarets didn’t have an ideal start to their new season as the unit played two fixtures and lost both of them. The team next plays Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow at home at 7:30 PM IST.
