The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) announced a partnership with BKT Tires, a leading manufacturer of off-highway tires, for the 2024 edition.
The Indian entity has been named LSG’s principal sponsor for IPL 2024. In addition, BKT Tires will be prominently displayed on the back of the LSG’s training and playing jerseys throughout the tournament.
BKT is a major player in the off-highway tire market, specializing in tyres for tractors, construction vehicles, and other specialized applications. To ramp up brand awareness, the company has embraced sports sponsorships with teams in the IPL and KFC Big Bash League and even served as the official tire supplier for monster truck events like Monster Jam. In the recently concluded SA20, BKT was the official tire partner of Paarl Royals, Durban’s Super Giants, and MI Cape Town.
The Lucknow-based franchise has been busy securing a string of impressive partnerships. In addition to BKT Tires, they’ve inked deals with Astral Pipes, BookMyShow, SIX5SIX, INA Solar, SBI Life, Dazller, and Valvoline.
This influx of sponsorships strengthens LSG’s position as they gear up for their opening match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Sunday, March 24. The highly anticipated encounter will take place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, scheduled at 3:30 PM IST.
