BKT Tires prolongs its innings with MI Cape Town for yet another season

The SA20 franchise, MI Cape Town have signed a partnership renewal with the Indian tyre manufacturer, BKT Tires.

Following the extension, BKT Tires continues to be the official tire partner of MI Cape Town for SA20 2024.

The franchise announced its collaboration extension on its various social media handles with the caption, “𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, from one season to another 🤝. Glad to have you on board once again, @BKTtires 💙.”

Before this deal, the unit signed commercial alliances with Airlink, Cadbury Ice Cream, DHL, Yu Foodlabs, TCL, and Parimatch Sports.

BKT Tyres, formerly known as Balkrishna Industries Limited, is an Indian multinational tyre company that was founded in 1987 by Mahabirprasad Poddar. It produces highway tyres used in specialised markets like mining, earthmoving, and agriculture. It was placed 41st among the world’s tyre manufacturers in 2013. 

The Rashid Khan-led side will begin its 2024 season against Durban’s Super Giants at Kingsmead in Durban on Thursday, January 11.
