The SA20 team, Paarl Royals have signed a partnership extension with the Indian multinational tyre developer company, BKT Tires.
With this extension, BKT Tires has been named the official tire partner of Paarl Royals for SA20 2024.
The franchise through its social media handles announced the alliance with the caption, “Together we chase the dream. 💗💪@BKTtires is back! 🔥”.

Before this signing, the unit onboarded various brands such as Six6s and Radio KC 107.7 FM to its esteemed sponsorship portfolio.
Under the name Balkrishna Industries Limited, Mahabirprasad Poddar founded BKT Tires, an international tyre company based in India, in 1987. It produces tyres for roads as well as for specialised industries like mining, earthmoving, and agriculture. It came in at number 41 among all tyre manufacturers globally in 2013. BKT Tires also partnered with Durban’s Super Giants and MI Cape Town for the second edition of SA20.
The Royals had a satisfactory season last year, as the unit qualified for the knock-out stage but weren’t able to go further as Pretoria Capitals stopped its journey in the first semi-final.
The David Miller-led side will be facing the Capitals on Friday, January 12 at Boland Park in Paarl.
