Barcelona land new sponsorship deal with VeganNation

For the next three seasons, the groups will collaborate to inspire a fresh era of environmentally conscious fans.

The LaLiga outfit, FC Barcelona, has announced a new multi-year sponsorship deal with the global community that intends to make the world go vegan and live on a plant-based diet, VeganNation. This newly-inked association will run until June 30, 2025.

For the next three seasons, the groups will collaborate to inspire a fresh era of environmentally conscious fans. The main goal of the partnership is to emphasize the value of sustainability and environmentally responsible practices among their international society of fans and followers.

The agreement with VeganNation is in line with the sustainability objective of FC Barcelona’s 2021-26 Strategic Plan, which is addressed in economic, sporting, and environmental terms. The latter is a research area in which VeganNation works thoroughly through its app. The platform draws together those people who believe that it is imperative to respond ingeniously and sustainably, while also linking companies and organisations that operate in accordance with these eco-friendly values, using environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.

The contract also covers affiliation rights with the men’s and women’s first teams, along with hospitality rights and the formation of content for publication on the club’s channels. Both the parties included will collaborate on multiple tasks centred on sustainable living, particularly the circular economy and awareness.
