Australia tour of India 2023 2nd T20I: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

India and Australia have played 27 T20I matches so far, with India winning 16 and Australia winning 10.

In the second T20I of the five-match bilateral series, India will take on Australia at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram tonight, November 26, at 7 PM IST.

The fresh start after the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 was done well by the Indian team, as they managed to pull out a win against the mighty Aussies in the first T20I. Major credit for the victory belonged to the skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Rinku Singh. Opener Kishan struggled at the beginning but soon recovered his knock to score a fifty, whereas skipper SKY smashed a well-earned fifty with balls flying all around the park. Moreover, a special mention should also go to Rinku Singh, who finished the game easily despite the pressure. In tonight’s game, fans will once again hope to see their in-form players strike well while bowlers like Prasidh Krishna, Arshdeep Singh, Mukesh Kumar, and Ravi Bishnoi have more impactful performances.

On the other hand, the Aussies also didn’t do much wrong in the first match. The batters like Steven Smith and Josh Inglis were impeccable but the side will still hope to see Smith bat with a more attractive strike rate. Tim David also looked strong and certainly, if he stood long at the crease, he could create a ruckus. With the ball, Tanveer Sangha was impressive but needs more help from other bowlers.

Head-to-Head:

India and Australia have played 27 T20I matches against each other so far, with India winning 16 and Australia winning 10. Additionally, one match got washed out.
