AS Roma bolster sponsorship pact with Riyadh Season

According to the arrangement, Riyadh Season has been named the new front-of-shirt sponsor of AS Roma for the ongoing 2023-24 season.

The Serie A team, AS Roma have announced a brand-new partnership with Saudi Arabia’s annual entertainment and sports fest, Riyadh Season.

According to the arrangement, Riyadh Season has been named the new front-of-shirt sponsor of La Lupa for the ongoing 2023-24 season.

Through this deal, the logo of the premier festival will be placed at the centre of the playing kits of the club.

As a part of the deal, fans may see AS Roma play a friendly match in Riyadh as they are coming back to Saudi Arabia over four decades after their last visit. They will be welcomed by the country’s enormous passion for football, as seen by the numerous high-profile players who are currently playing in the Saudi Pro League (SPL).

His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, stated, “The yellow and red jersey is unique, it is synonymous with AS Roma around the world, and we are proud that Riyadh Season will now be associated with such an iconic shirt. Like football, Riyadh Season is aimed at bringing people together with its extensive range of international entertainment events and this collaboration will offer even greater visibility through one of the world’s most supported clubs.

He also expressed, “Roma’s recent success in Europe makes this an exciting time to be a part of this famous club and we look forward to seeing what can be achieved in the coming years together.” 

The unit already added brands such as adidas, 678.comStarCasinò Sport, and Enel to its sponsorship portfolio.

Riyadh Season is a premier state-sponsored annual entertainment and sports festival in Saudi Arabia. The vibrant festival attracts a huge number of people from all corners of the world to Riyadh during the winter months. The festival provides a surreal experience which has thousands of concerts, exhibitions, and dining experiences.

La Magica are having a very mediocre season till now, as they were able to win two games, but lost three fixtures, and are currently lagging at the 13th rank of the points table. The club will be eyeing to improve its position in the league against Cagliari on Sunday, October 8.
