Arsenal ink multi-year sponsorship renewal with Adidas

Arsenal re-joined forces with Adidas at the start of the 2019/20 season.

The Premier League (PL) club, Arsenal, has announced an extension of its partnership with the German sportswear giants, Adidas. The newly renewed arrangement will now last until the end of the 2029/30 season.

Arsenal re-joined forces with Adidas at the start of the 2019/20 season, reuniting after 25 years. The team cracked breakthroughs with persuasive purpose-led initiatives and a range of products ingrained in London’s culture since the start of the latest alliance.

The expanded collaboration will now put a stronger focus on Arsenal Women as well. Both parties will aggressively promote women’s football which will bring the team and players well-deserved worldwide recognition.

The club’s sustainability policy will also stand to gain from Adidas’ knowledge and expertise, as the brand works to satisfy its main objective of substituting virgin polyester with recycled polyester in Adidas products wherever possible by 2024.

The new collaboration also allows the club to continue its previous efforts to assist local communities. Together, the club launched ‘No More Red‘ earlier this year, a long-term initiative designed to combat the underlying causes of youth crime by empowering young people across the formation of private spaces and active mentorship with dependable role models.

Arsenal, Chief Commercial Officer, Juliet Slot, said, “We’re delighted to agree on a new partnership with Adidas until 2030. The long-term nature of our extension means there’s a real commitment to build on this brilliant collaboration, with a strong focus on growing women’s football and developing our sustainability strategy.”Since we’ve been reunited, we’ve driven initiatives and investment in our local communities, and developed exciting and bold product ranges for our players and supporters alike. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made together and we’re excited to take our partnership forward.”

Chief Executive Officer, Adidas, Kasper Rorsted, commented, “The work we have done with Arsenal has broken new ground in football partnerships and both on and off the pitch Arsenal continues to be at the forefront of the sport. We’re truly excited to continue to support both the men’s and women’s teams, delivering the very best for the athlete.“We believe in helping the local community in London, investing in the causes and issues that matter most to them, and through exciting products and authentic storytelling, we’re looking forward to celebrating the rich and diverse Arsenal fanbase globally in the years ahead.”
