YuppTV bags digital streaming rights of IPL 2020

Digital streaming platform YuppTV has bagged streaming rights of Dream11 IPL 2020. The tournament will be streamed live on the YuppTV platform from Continental Europe (excluding UK and Ireland), Australia, South East Asia (excluding Singapore), South and Central America, Central Asia, and Sri Lanka.

As per the reports, YuppTV is an over-the-top (OTT) content provider for South Asian content, including live television and films with recording and storage features. It allows broadcasters and content providers to reach an audience, while  enabling the consumers to view content on up to six screens of connected TVs, STBs, PC, smartphones, tablets and game consoles.

IPL 2020 is all set to get back in action in less than a week starting from 19th September in UAE. The whole tournament is set to be played across three venues – Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium – Abu Dhabi, Dubai International Cricket Stadium – Dubai, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium – Sharjah.

A total of 60 matches are to be played across 53 days with Abu Dhabi hosting 20 matches, Dubai 24 matches, and Sharjah 12 matches respectively. The venues for the playoffs will be announced later. Finals is all set to be played on 10th November.

All the matches will be streamed live for the above mentioned regions on the YuppTV platform through Smart Televisions, Smartphones, Computers, Laptops, Tablets, and other internet-enabled devices. Viewers can also watch the full tournament for free by subscribing for any annual package.
