Yorkshire CCC partners up with NIC Services

After recently partnering up with Nike as their official jersey partner, Yorkshire County Cricket Club on Wednesday announced a three-year agreement with NIC Services as the club’s new sponsor.

As part of this deal, the facility management providing company will be sponsoring the team to feature on the front side of the shirt for the LV = County Championship. Along with this incentive, the company will be ever present across the club’s live online coverage as well as their stadiums of Emerald Headingley, Scarborough, and York. The company will also facilitate cleaning and facility management service at Emerald Headingley for the next five years.

The county club recently partnered with the American sporting giant Nike, and now with the latest sponsor on board the club’s finances are on the path of recovering. ECB recently confirmed that losses incurred by county clubs during the pandemic is in the region of £100 million.

However, in the light of the flow of sponsors, the club might actually do well in the coming days. Commenting on the latest sponsorship, Andy Dawson, Yorkshire CCC Commercial Director said, “We are absolutely delighted and very proud that we will be wearing the NIC brand on the front of the County Championship shirts for the next three years.”

Dawson further praised their new partner NIC Services Group, which also happens to be the largest facility management providers in England having more than 40 operational centers across UK, Ireland and Europe. NIC was recently named in the Financial Times’ 1,000 Fastest Growing Companies In Europe, that too for the second year due to its remarkable growth in terms of revenue.
