The renowned esports organisation, Team Vitality has secured a partnership with the leading telecom company, Vodafone Idea, also known as Vi.
Following the agreement, Vi and Team Vitality will be working together to establish a brilliant esports gaming culture in India.
The agreement also encompasses a wide range of other activities, such as brand sponsorship, content partnerships, and gaming events and experiences. Vi members will receive exclusive access to teams and events in esports, where they can participate.
Additionally, the agreement will open doors for aspiring esports players from all around the nation, giving them access to professional players, master courses, meet-and-greets with esports talent, and a host of other opportunities.
The State of India Gaming Report 2022 projects that by 2027, the Indian esports market will be worth $140 million. Esports as a category has flourished in recent years, particularly after it was first recognised as an official medal sport on numerous international sports platforms.
Vi and Team Vitality intend to introduce several gaming competitions and events to take advantage of this and forge closer ties with users.
