Usha International prolongs association with Mumbai Indians for 10th consecutive year

The initial association between Usha International and Mumbai Indians was inked in 2014.

Usha International has announced a partnership extension with the five-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Mumbai Indians (MI).

With this development, the partnership between the two parties involved has been renewed for the 10th IPL season. According to the company, the Mumbai-based team aligns perfectly with Usha’s ‘Play’ ethos and this collaboration is the brand’s affirmation of supporting and promoting sports and athletics culture along with a healthy and active lifestyle.

Speaking on the partnership, Komal Mehra, Head – Sports Initiatives and Associations, Usha International said, “To reach a decade-long association with Mumbai Indians is a milestone that echoes the mutual respect and alignment of both brands. It further reiterates our dedication to nurturing sports and developing a sporting ecosystem via strategic partnerships. The Mumbai Indians franchisee displays the true spirit of sportsmanship, and its players are role models for the youth, inspiring them to lead active and healthy lives. We wish the players the best of luck and look forward to witnessing some high adrenalin games this season!”

Earlier this month, Usha International also partnered with the Women’s Premier League (WPL) team of MI, who will play against UP Warriorz (UPW) in a play-off fixture of the competition tomorrow.

Prior to this partnership, MI also teamed up with DHL, IDFC FIRST Bank, and EUME. The Rohit Sharma-led team will kick off its 2023 IPL campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday, April 2 at 7:30 PM IST.
