Topps links up with PSG to launch trading cards and stickers

Topps will be the sole "Paris Saint-Germain" licensee for trading cards and stickers.

The US cards manufacturer Topps has announced a multi-year licensing deal with the French Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Topps will be the sole “Paris Saint-Germain” licensee for trading cards and stickers. The Parisian club’s great footballers will join the Topps family, much to the delight of collectors and football fans.

According to the licensing agreement, two exclusive PSGxTopps products will be released on the market, the official Paris Saint-Germain Team Set & the Paris Saint-Germain Chrome Box Set. These will include the authentic player cards signed by the teams’ finest players.

The Topps Company is an American manufacturer of chewing gum, sweets, and memorabilia. Topps is well recognized for producing high-quality trading cards depicting American football, baseball, basketball, ice hockey, soccer, and other sports and non-sports themes. In 2022, Fanatics announced the acquisition of the firm for $500 million.

This major multi-year partnership is part of the Topps global portfolio, which already includes some of the most iconic licenses in the sports and entertainment industry. The brand has partnerships with UEFA, Bundesliga, and UEFA Champions League to be named a few.

Topps aims to provide officially licensed sports merchandise to sports fans and seasoned collectors. This new collection enables Topps to expand and strengthen its distribution network in France outside newsagents, where the brand is already well-known, and to position itself as a vital player in the trading card industry.
