The biryani brand from Curefoods, Sharief Bhai has named the Indian left-arm pacer, T. Natarajan as its new brand ambassador.

The Indian cricketer was present at the inauguration of Sharief Bhai’s traditional restaurant in Coimbatore. Natrajan indulged in a meet-and-greet session with guests.

The association reflects the unification of authenticity, excellence and an attachment to one’s cultural roots.

The Hyderabad-based cricketer plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and made his international debut in the historic India tour of Australia 2020/21.

Gokul Kandhi, Chief Business Officer, Curefoods, said, “T. Natarajan’s journey and dedication mirror the essence of Sharief Bhai – a commitment to excellence and heritage. Natarajan’s prowess on the field has earned him respect and admiration across the entire country. We are honoured to have him as our brand ambassador and while he supports us in this journey, we look forward to embarking a fruitful partnership.”

Natarajan, added, “I am thrilled to be a part of the Sharief Bhai family as its brand ambassador, for a brand that resonates with my love for biryani, an authentic taste and culture. Just as cricket brings diverse people together, food unites us Indians too. Biryani holds a special place in India’s diverse culinary heritage, and Sharief Bhai beautifully encapsulates the essence of this cherished tradition. I am grateful to the brand for bestowing me with this opportunity and look forward to celebrate the flavours of Sharief Bhai that would harmoniously unite a wider audience.”

Earlier this year in June, Natarajan opened a cricket ground at the Chinnappampatti Village in Salem District. The newly unveiled ground consists of four pitches, a gym, a canteen and a mini gallery with 100 seats.

The ground was inaugurated by the veteran Indian cricketer, Dinesh Karthik, along with the likes of Washington Sundar, Varun Chakravarthy, Tamil Nadu Cricket Association President P Ashok Sigamani and actor Yogi Babu.
