Rahul Dravid becomes new Bharat Petroleum brand ambassador

In this arrangement, Rahul Dravid will endorse Bharat Petroleum's ‘Pure for Sure’ initiative and its range of MAK lubricants.

One of the renowned oil marketing companies in India, Bharat Petroleum has announced the former Indian skipper and current coach of the Indian cricket team, Rahul Dravid as its new brand ambassador.

Dravid will endorse the company’s ‘Pure for Sure’ initiative and its range of MAK lubricants in this arrangement.

The newly unveiled collaboration reflects Bharat Petroleum’s determination to quality, excellence and authenticity, according to the company. In addition, the 50-year-old’s trustworthiness, dependability, integrity and status resonate with the entity, which makes him the ideal choice for BPCL.

Commenting on the development, Shri G. Krishnakumar, C&MD, BPCL said, “We are delighted to welcome Rahul Dravid to BPCL family. As one of the greatest cricketers of our time, he stood out not only for his exemplary batting skills but also his strong integrity and dependability. An icon who took Indian cricket to new heights, Rahul truly epitomizes our values of trust, integrity, ethics, service and consistency. His association with BPCL will only serve to emphasise our promise of quality and dependability to consumers across the country.”

Speaking on this association, Rahul Dravid said, “I am honoured to be associated with BPCL, which is one of India’s most iconic companies with a rich legacy of innovation and integrity. Today, brands like Pure For Sure and MAK Lubricants are a byword for trust and dependability and an integral part of every Indian’s life. I can’t think of a better brand to be associated with and look forward to working with the company as they embark on a new chapter in their journey of growth and success.”

Bharat Petroleum, headquartered in Mumbai, was founded in 1952 and is owned by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. BPCL is listed on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and currently has a price of just over INR 350. In one of the recent developments, BPCL and Ather Energy teamed up to enhance the latter’s charging stations. In this development, Ather Energy has been given access to Bharat Petroleum’s network of more than 21,000 fuel stations.

Before this brand endorsement deal, earlier this year, the former Head of Cricket at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) also inked associations with Farmley and Knest.
