Qatar Airways retains official airline partnership with UEFA for men’s national team competitions

Having been the official airline partner of UEFA EURO 2020, Qatar Airways has a long association with the competition.

The apex body of football in Europe, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced a partnership extension with Qatar Airways, one of the major Middle Eastern airlines.

As part of the deal, Qatar Airways will continue to remain UEFA’s official airline partner for men’s national team competitions.

The sponsorship, which is a continuation of the cooperation that began with UEFA EURO 2020, has begun with UEFA EURO 2024. The competition has already commenced in Munich yesterday, i.e., June 14, and will run until July 14, with Berlin serving as the site of the final.

Having been the official airline partner of UEFA EURO 2020, Qatar Airways has a long association with the competition. This will be the tournament’s 17th edition, with 51 matches spread over 10 German cities and an anticipated 2.5 million spectators.

Along with the collaboration, Qatar Airways is expanding its global network to include connections to over 170 destinations by opening a new gateway in Hamburg, Germany. With a dedication to quality and innovation, Qatar Airways is thrilled to provide customers with enhanced access to 5 destinations in Germany and 49 destinations around Europe, which will benefit travellers from all over the world.

Back in May, the airline also became MotoGP‘s cargo airline partner. Along with this, it also signed with Premier Padel to become its title sponsor. Over the years, Qatar Airways has also partnered with FIA World Endurance Championship, AFC, FIFA, Inter Milan FC, BWT Alpine F1 Team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Legends League Cricket, Formula 1, Qatar Cricket Association, and many more.
