The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Punjab Kings (PBKS) have developed a sponsorship extension with the renowned digital services company, Jio.
In this deal, the Indian telecommunications company will continue to remain the principal partner of PBKS for IPL 2024. Additionally, PBKS jerseys will still feature Jio’s emblem on the leading arm.
The Punjab-based unit used its social media handles to announce this renewed agreement. The post said, “We are glad to continue our collaboration with @reliancejio as Principal Sponsor for #TATAIPL2024! 💪”
Jio, a division of Reliance Industries, was established in Ahmedabad in 2007 and is presently headquartered in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The telecom business is in charge of an LTE network that connects all 22 telecom circles. Jio has begun offering 5G services in 50 Indian locations, one of the company’s most recent breakthroughs.
Before this deal, the side also signed sponsorship ties with Hindware, Timex, Astral Pipes, KENT, and Advance Decorative Laminates.
PBKS are all set to commence their IPL 2024 journey against Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 23, i.e., Saturday at 3:30 PM, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh Stadium in Mullanpur, Mohali.
