One of the top sportswear brands, Puma India has unveiled an advertisement campaign featuring Delhi Capitals‘ (DC) star players – Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma and Yash Dhull – to connect with the team’s passionate supporters.
Puma’s advertisement campaign for the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, “Delhi, Save the Battle for the Game,” exhorts supporters to use the hashtag #DelhiSaveTheFight to show their aggressive side.
Although Delhi’s typical aggression is sometimes seen negatively, Puma thinks that the Capital’s shared enthusiasm will positively boost the game.
Commenting on the occasion, Yash Dhull, said, “This cricket season is pure sports entertainment and Puma has a unique ability to engage with fans. Puma’s films made for Delhi Capitals this year do a hilarious take on the city’s innate nature to be headstrong. I am from Delhi and well-versed with our love for aggression. So, teaming up with Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma, and shooting for this film with routine Delhi scenarios was lot of fun and laughter. Having said that, the film’s message is strong, and saving and bringing this aggression to the game is the right spirit.”

Puma was named the official kit partner of DC after securing a multi-year contract with the team’s parent businesses, JSW Group and GMR; thus expanding its presence in the cricketing landscape. As a kit partner, PUMA’s emblem appears on the leading arm of the Capitals’ men’s and women’s jerseys.
Last night, the team defeated the formidable Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to record its first victory of the season.
