NODWIN Gaming, Global Esports Federation collaborate to promote esports globally

NODWIN Gaming has obtained the exclusive rights to develop and market GEF-licensed esports events in more than 20 countries.

NODWIN Gaming, a leader in gaming and esports media, has partnered with the Global Esports Federation (GEF) to become the Portfolio Management Company (PMC) for essential emerging markets in South and Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Through its knowledge and position as a leader in emerging markets across the globe, NODWIN Gaming hopes to drive the expansion of gaming and esports globally, and this partnership is a major step towards that goal.

The rapidly changing esports ecosystem, together with its varied network of global impact partners and adjacent businesses, is brought together by the GEF. Since its founding in 2019, GEF has grown to include over 155 member federations, involving billions of athletes, players, and fans worldwide.

Strongly committed to its purpose and universal ideals, the GEF has grown into a genuine representative of the esports community, increasing the industry’s legitimacy and reputation on a global scale. In addition, the GEF plays a crucial role in developing emerging technology, user, fan, and brand experiences that promote gaming innovation while ensuring long-term growth for esports and endless possibilities that excite the globe’s hyper-connected youth.

NODWIN Gaming has now obtained the exclusive rights to develop and market GEF-licensed esports events in more than 20 countries, including India, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Dubai, Bahrain, Jordan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the entire continent of Africa. This is due to the company’s strategic partnerships with major industry players and its track record of organising gaming events and lifestyle festivals.

As a PMC, NODWIN Gaming also obtains non-exclusive rights to stage GEF-licensed events globally, paving the opportunity for synergistic partnerships between the business’s subsidiaries and key partners. NODWIN Gaming’s latest takeover of the Turkey-based Ninja Gaming positions the organisation for expansion into Turkey, the Middle East, and North Africa, whereas its Singapore-based experiential marketing powerhouse Branded concentrates on the Asia-Pacific region.

Through its equity investment in Freaks 4U Gaming, a top full-service gaming and esports agency in Germany, NODWIN Gaming will have access to the agency’s European, endemic, and non-endemic networks, which could offer possibilities for developing GEF-licensed events in non-exclusive regions.

Akshat Rathee, Co-Founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, said, “The world of esports is evolving towards true global celebration of esports titles across the world. GEF truly epitomizes the hopes and aspirations of all the developing world markets that NODWIN seeks to develop. We believe our partnership with GEF will bring the best of esports opportunities to the youth of the emerging world.”

Mario Cilenti, Chief Operating Officer at GEF, commented, “We are thrilled to have NODWIN Gaming on board as our Portfolio Management Company for the South Asia, Central Asia, and Africa markets. Their capabilities and extensive experience make them ideal partners to advance the Global Esports Federation’s mission and further engage with esports communities across key growth regions.”
