New Balance to provide footwear and apparel in Australian Open with Tennis Australia deal

As per the deal, New Balance has been named the official performance apparel and footwear provider of the Australian Open and United Cup for the upcoming 2024, 2025, and 2026 seasons.

The national governing body of tennis in Australia, Tennis Australia has forged a partnership with the American multinational sports equipment and apparel developer, New Balance

As per the deal, New Balance has been named the official performance apparel and footwear provider of the Australian Open and the growing United Cup for the upcoming three editions. 

Through this collaboration, New Balance will launch an Australian Open co-branded range of collection of clothing and footwear before the competition in 2024. The collection will be sold online as well as at New Balance’s on-site retail store in Grand Slam Oval at Melbourne Park from January 14 to 28, 2024. 

Furthermore, the apparel company will also supply ball kids with apparel for the United Cup, which will take place in Sydney and Perth from December 29, 2023, to January 7, 2024.

Cedric Cornelis, Tennis Australia’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “We [Tennis Australia and New Balance] share a common goal of growing tennis through innovation while honoring the sport’s rich heritage, making New Balance an obvious partner for two of the sport’s events.”

He also added, “New Balance has a long history of investing in tennis, with some of the game’s biggest names as proud ambassadors of the brand. We are excited to work with New Balance as it expands its presence in the sport even further.”
