Migu lands streaming rights of Serie A in China

Migu will also work with the Serie A for the fans in China and will focus on youth football.

Migu, the streaming subsidiary of China Mobile announced its streaming rights deal with the Italian top-flight, the deal will see them cover the 2021/22 season of Serie A in China.

Along with the deal, Migu will provide full coverage of the league for the upcoming season including the pre-match and post-match with reviews and analysis as well.

Migu will also work with the Serie A for the fans in China and will focus on youth football, maximizing fan experiences and will also participate in the e-commerce operations of the league.

This becomes the third deal in European football for Migu as they announced the streaming rights deal for the 2021/22 season of the Bundesliga and the Premier League in China.

The deal will help Migu enhance its global outreach even further as Serie A is one of the biggest football leagues in the world that will provide maximized exposure.

The Italian top-flight kicks off from 21st August and will see the defending champions Inter Milan face off against Genoa in the first fixture of the new season. Inter Milan won the previous edition of the Serie A with 91 points in 38 games.

Reports also suggest that Migu have also landed the streaming rights of the 2021/22 season of Ligue 1 in China.

If proven right, Migu will have the rights of all the top five football leagues of the world in China.
