Miami FC strike local broadcast TV deal with CBS Miami

The bulk of Miami FC home and away games will be broadcast on TV33 (WBFS), as well as simulcast online on CBSMiami.com.

The USL Championship team, Miami FC have announced a new local broadcast TV deal with CBS Miami, which brings professional football back to local Miami TV in 2023.

The new alliance was announced in the midst of the USL Championship team getting ready for its home opener against FC Tulsa on March 11 at FIU Stadium in Miami.

The bulk of Miami FC home and away games will be broadcast on TV33 (WBFS), as well as simulcast online on CBSMiami.com, thanks to the addition of Miami FC to CBS Miami, home of the Miami Dolphins.

The squad that will be providing fans with in-game commentary throughout the entire season was also introduced by the club and station. On the squad are play-by-play commentator David Gascon, sideline reporter Lauren Markwith, and colour commentator Ricky Lopez-Espin.

Miami FC CEO Michael Williamson, commented, “We are incredibly excited to begin this new journey with CBS Miami in 2023. South Florida is blessed to have two professional soccer teams in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area, and as a professional club representing the local Miami community we could not be more proud to partner with an organization like CBS Miami who values outreach to its local Miami residents. As this city prepares to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup we are honored to provide professional soccer entertainment on local Miami TV, and continue to grow the game in our 305 community.”
