Melbourne City FC onboard Tarneit United as platinum partner for Macca’s City Clubs initiative

Tarneit United will benefit from several things, such as "Coach the Coach" workshops run by Melbourne City FC's coaches, player meet and greets, and much more.

The A-League side, Melbourne City FC have announced a brand-new partnership with the local Melbourne-based football club, Tarneit United.

As part of the partnership, Tarneit United Soccer Club has been named the side’s Macca’s City Clubs’ platinum partner.

With the help of this pact, Tarneit United will benefit from several things, such as “Coach the Coach” workshops run by Melbourne City FC’s coaches, player meet and greets, and the chance to partake in exclusive matchday experiences and deals. 

Before this development, the unit already added companies such as Federation University Australia, Workplace Law, and McDonald’s Australia to its sponsorship portfolio.

Brad Rowse, Chief Executive Officer, Melbourne City FC, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Tarneit United to the Macca’s City Club program on the eve of the 2023/24 A-Leagues season. Supporting grassroots football is important to us at Melbourne City FC, and with the addition of Tarneit United, we now have thirteen Macca’s City Club Platinum Partners stretching right across Melbourne. 

He also added, “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Tarneit United and can’t wait to give their participants plenty of unforgettable experiences and opportunities in the years ahead.”

On October 21, the City Boys will face Western United at their home stadium, Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, to start their 2023–24 Australian top-flight season. On the other hand, the club’s women’s division is now ranked fourth in the points standings. The women’s team’s next game is scheduled for October 21 versus Canberra United.
