The all-new professional cricket league in the United States (US), the Major League Cricket (MLC) has announced a multi-year partnership with SPORTENG.
The brand will serve as the league’s official field of play designer as part of the agreement.

SPORTENG will be appointed as the designer for all prospective stadium, turf field and practice facility improvements. SPORTENG has already designed the pitch for MLC’s new 7,200-seat Grand Prairie Stadium near Dallas, Texas.
SPORTENG, an Australian company that leads the field of the play design market, has designed fields for some of the top cricket venues in Australia, such as Optus Stadium, the Junction Oval (home of Cricket Victoria), Cricket Central (home of Cricket New South Wales), and the Alan Border Oval (home of Queensland Cricket).
SPORTENG’s CEO Jarrod Hill, said, “SPORTENG has worked on Field of Play projects around the world, but it is a special opportunity for us to partner with Major League Cricket and help establish outstanding playing surfaces for the sport’s exciting future in the United States. We can’t wait to see the action start at Grand Prairie Stadium this summer and to work with the MLC team on numerous upcoming projects.”

On July 13, underneath the lights at America’s new top cricket stadium, the freshly laid pitch at Grand Prairie will host the first-ever MLC encounter. The league seeks to increase public interest in this thrilling sport in the American Midwest. Seattle Orcas, MI New York, Texas Super Kings, Washington Freedom, San Francisco Unicorns, and Los Angeles Knight Riders will be playing in this competition.
Prior to this deal, the organisers have already inked sponsorship pacts with Betbricks7 and Royal.
