Major League Cricket announces partnership renewal with Royal for upcoming season

Royal will offer fans the chance to savor authentic South Asian cuisine alongside the high-octane action on the pitch throughout the 2024 Cognizant MLC season.

Cognizant Major League Cricket (MLC), the professional Twenty20 cricket league in the United States, has announced the return of Royal as a signature partner for the upcoming season.

This exciting partnership renewal brings back a taste of India for cricket fans in the US. 

Royal, the leading brand of Basmati and Sona Masoori rice in America, will offer fans the chance to savour authentic South Asian cuisine alongside the high-octane action on the pitch throughout the 2024 MLC season.

During the inaugural season in 2023, Royal successfully introduced cricket fans to its delicious offerings at matches. This year, fans can look forward to sampling Royal’s best-selling products, including the 2024 SELF Pantry Award-winning Ready-to-Heat Basmati Rice. Additionally, fans can expect branded giveaways and experience the brand’s refreshed packaging design, all kicking off on opening night, July 4, 2024.

The 2023 MLC season marked a significant turning point for American cricket. It delivered world-class domestic T20 action to the US for the first time, with many matches selling out in Texas and North Carolina. Further solidifying its position, MLC recently announced Cognizant, a major American IT services company, as its official title sponsor for the upcoming season.

The highly anticipated MLC season returns in exactly 100 days, on July 4. Confirmed venues include the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Texas, with additional locations to be announced soon.
